Well no, the science does need some work (and I imagine that would bother you much more than me), but the characters writing is quite solid, and you have to admit there are some clever jokes here and there, yes?
Oh! I like the ones that look at real crimes. Either ones that go into old cases and show how they caught the people responsible, or the ones that go into open and cold cases. Mom doesn't really like watching those things with me though. Says that is the same stuff she already deals with at work. Adaine will sometimes watch 'em with me though.

That sounds lovely. I tend to enjoy historical fiction dramas, and both Keith and I love science fiction stories, even as we go over the inconsistencies together.
[And of course she enjoys romance, but she knows neither Riz and Keith are that interested... although her husband is nice enough to enjoy her sometimes.]
I like spy movies too. They remind me of my dad. I already liked them before I found out about dad, but now they just make me imagine him doing all that cool stuff.
[Probably the real stuff Pok was involved in was a lot less flashy than the stuff Fantasy James Bond gets up to, but still, it's a fun dream, okay.]
