[He does not, but even if he did get out more that wouldn't help much in this case. He stares at her in silence. You can practically see the gears turning in his head as he tries to make sense of what she's saying.]
Is this a game...?
[Because the alternative is she's lying, and that seems rude to accuse a stranger of.]

[It takes him a beat. While sarcasm is something his older self is no stranger to, for little Min-Gi it just isn't something he comes across. Maybe occasionally from Ryan's older sisters, but even then it's just as likely they're trying to trick him into something as being sarcastic.
Once he gets it, though, he bristles.]
Okay. So you're a liar. When I see an adult I'm telling.
[Because unfortunately he is that kind of child.]

Someone tell this Pikachu to stop handling things at the crime scene.
03:11
He's getting his fingerprints all over the murder weapon, fantasy Jesus fuck
03:12
Do pokemon have fingerprints? Koalas have fingerprints.
03:14
STOP THAT
03:15
I don't think this Pikachu has any forensic training at all. *Detective* Pikachu my ass

[Min-Gi only looks a few moments from full waterworks himself. It's hard to say what upset him more; the reminder his parents aren't around, or being told he isn't nice or useful.
The Flittle he'd been playing with before hovers worriedly around him, but he hardly seems to notice. He stands rigid, face red and eyes full of unshed tears. His mouth is twisted in absolute fury.
And then....]
RYAN!!

[It is literally only a few seconds before another boy is literally skidding into the frame from running so fast to answer Min's call. He actually slides a little too far, bonks into a table and knocks something off it, but quickly picks himself up and rushes over.]
Min-Gi! Is everything okay?! What's wrong?
[He's making the 'bout to cry face and that's never good.]

Oh! I like the ones that look at real crimes. Either ones that go into old cases and show how they caught the people responsible, or the ones that go into open and cold cases. Mom doesn't really like watching those things with me though. Says that is the same stuff she already deals with at work. Adaine will sometimes watch 'em with me though.
[Know that Riz and Adaine have absolutely solved the Zodiac killer like four times already.]

I like spy movies too. They remind me of my dad. I already liked them before I found out about dad, but now they just make me imagine him doing all that cool stuff.
[Probably the real stuff Pok was involved in was a lot less flashy than the stuff Fantasy James Bond gets up to, but still, it's a fun dream, okay.]

[Special delivery! Through the Pidgey post comes a blue envelope, addressed to Allura. The return address is a small little inn located in Blackthorn City, and comes from Mr. and Mrs. Arlert. Inside is a very festive postcard. On the back is a short by very delicately penned note, thanks to Armin!]
Allura,
Thank you so much for attending our wedding, and for being such a delightful friend these past few years. Knowing you is an honor, and we cannot wait for our continued adventures together.
-Angel and Armin Arlert
[Also included is a little Polaroid picture of Angel and Armin laying in the snow, clearly having just made a pair of snow angels. Their cheeks are flushed from the cold, and their breath is obvious in the camera! Both of them are grinning hard enough for their eyes to crinkle!! How cute!]
